Thompson Lake, 2007, during a fishing trip in Northern Maine

 INTRODUCTION

I spent the majority of my life in a small town up north. It's the kind of town that walking down the street without someone recognizing you and stopping to say hi, is near impossible.

I was born in Fall River, Massachusettes in 1984, but only lived there the first two years of my life.

I moved to Florida in July of 2004 with Corey, my future husband to be. We will be celebrating our two year anniversary in July of 2009.

My plans were to attend the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg, as a marine biology major. I have always been a great admirer of ocean life. However, I discovered that I was better suited in a communications major, where I could learn how to excel  in my writing, something that is an aspiration of mine.

Ever since I was a little girl, in the midst of building tree houses, and making long trips to the frog pond, I have always gotten a certain sense of satisfaction from putting my thoughts, feelings and emotions down on paper.

I plan to write a book someday about the trials that I have overcome, not only during my childhood, but also as I have now entered into my adult years.

I have decided to create this web page as a way to keep a record of the chapters in my life.
